The Pacha Mamas (Angela Bennett, Marquetta Dupree and Vivian Slade) began creating and performing together in Nashville, TN.
Their performances were driven by original music sung in three-part harmonies and included: movement, improvisation, spoken word and storytelling. One by one they moved to Atlanta, remaining active as a group until 2018.
The following are just a few of the Pacha Mamas rave reviews!
"The Pacha Mamas moved, shook and stirred the souls of everyone attending the Antara Center Gala. Their combination of music, message and movement had the audience up, clapping and dancing in an ecstatic expression of heart and soul. The Pacha Mamas were an unqualified hit!'
(Steve Hornsby, producer)
"The Pacha Mamas' diverse talents provided an entertaining message with a wallop. Their improvisational skits relating to the ideas from the audience showed true genius. Our conference attendees clearly resonated with their message of unity and caring among all people."
(Betty Bland, president of The Theosophical Society in America)
"The Pacha Mamas were energizing, soulful and entertaining. I came to the benefit concert tired and left transformed from the synergy created in the room, wisdom spoken in song and dance and the electricity of their talent. . ."
(Amy Gaylor, Executive Director of Children Inspiring Hope)
