Projects in Process
Wildwood Flowers was an award winning show conceived/co-written and created by Angie Bennett.
It is currently being re-imaginated and revised into 2.0:
"Wildwood Flowers: A Musical Celebrating the Carter Sisters"
Before there was Johnny Cash and June Carter. . .
there was Mama Maybelle and The Carter Sisters, an evolution of The Original Carter Family
at the ROOTS of country music.
RETURNING TO THE MOTHER
is in development as a re-imagination of The Pacha Mama's "Guardians of Gaia".
We are currently in the process of creating, remixing and recording additional pieces for the show
with contributions from artists/collaborators Scott Houston and Katie Martin.
The intention is to complete the recordings by next spring and present them in a concert with
Sol Dance, including some of the show's theatrical and interactive elements.
